Shir Reshelbach

Lead Alumna, Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Shir is a teaching student specializing in Hebrew literature and mathematics for secondary education. She seeks to lead change and entrepreneurial innovation in education, believing that education is the primary arena for influencing the future generation. She is a graduate of the first cohort of Yotzrim Atid, which she views as exactly what the education world needs—a group of educators dreaming and acting together to strengthen teaching as a valued, ethical, and influential profession. In her eyes, the program transforms a strong desire and idea into a tangible educational reality. In the words of Idit Barak: “Ask a child, what do you want to be when you grow up? / To take the word want / and introduce it to the word can.” Shir lives in Jerusalem.
