Zippy is head of the Leadership and Resilience Unit and head of the “Rom” Excellence in Education program at Hemdat Academic College. A graduate of the second cohort of the Mandel Program for Academic Leadership in Teacher Education, she is a lecturer in the Literature and Education departments, and also trains school principals during their induction phase. Her research focuses on education in a changing reality, with an emphasis on new teachers and the narratives of beginning principals. Previously, she served as head of the Education Department at Hemdat and as director of Marom, a school for gifted and outstanding students in Ashdod. She holds a PhD from the Department of Comparative Literature at Bar-Ilan University. In Yotzrim Atid, she sees a platform for outstanding students to spark change in the education system and shape Israeli society. She lives in Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut.
